Welcome to EQUUS
Equus is a wild horse RPG set in a post apocalyptic city. About 80 years had passed since a virus and a nuclear attack had been launched. WE DO NOT TOLERATE STEALING AT ANY TIME. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT, YOU WILL BE BANNED. ALSO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CHALLENGING WHATSOEVER ALLOWED HERE. READ THE RULES!!
Plot:
The city has been abandoned. No humans live here. About 9 years ago, a horrible and destructive disease spread through here, affecting all the humans. Also, just before the humans vanished, the government launched a nuclear attack, killling every human alive. The horses were exposed to the radiation, and they ended up becoming immune to things. Though, they're not mutant, they are indestructable. The horses are free to roam over every inch of the land, wandering into cities. The city itself, lies in ruins and shambles. But what happened, instead of the equines banding together, they ended up separating and creating three main herds.
These three main herds rule certain parts of the city. While there are subherds, these three herds are actually fighting against one another, wanting to be the one main survial herd in the city. They despise each other and will often resent anyone who associates with them.
One question remains: Which side will you choose? Will you find out?.

The Pain had subsided by now, she still felt a little twinge when she put to much weight on her leg but nothing bad. There were cobwebs everywhere and a faint smell of rotting flesh, but she had dark in her, she was used to the smell of rotting flesh. Her chocolaty and blue orbs scanned the area around her and her ears flickered back and forth. She felt safe but had a nagging feeling in her mind he would do something bad to her, she quickly blocked this thought. OK she said and walked to the stall and stood there looking around it, there was some straw but some of it was a litle moldy, and there was a little heap of horse manure in the back corner but it was old and hard.
She Heard a kind of Scraping noise and poked her head out of the stall to see Hawk pushing the tractor. How strong he is! she thought. She laughed when he fell to the ground laughing. She watched him pull the blanket and shuffle it clean. She smiled at him and said: Thaknyou when he threw it over her, she nuzzled him and stood there her ears constantly flicking. She could hear the distant howls of wolves slowly getting closer but she left it until she heard a scatching noise behind her. The bottom of the barn had a hole in it and a nose poked through it closely followed by a head. When it saw her and Hawk it growled and squeezed the rest of it's body in slowly.

Hawk smiled and looked at the mare.Is this...love? He thought to himself as he gazed into her beautiful orbs. As Hawk was just beginning to fall asleep, he to heard the scratching sound in the back. He quickly got up and neighed loudly at the brute. The wolf was not very large compaired to the equine. He reared up and began to stomp on the creature. With every land, his hooves made a thuding sound on the hard dirt ground. Hawk neighed angrily as the wolf attacked his ankle. the ankle was torn, but not to the bone. That was it. The wolf was done for. Hawk reared once more, this time, landing on the wolf's front leg, leaving him crippled for life. Muscular back legs kicked the wlf to the side of the tractor. As the wolf began to howl for help, Hawk whinnied and lifted his front pillar, crushing the wolf's skull. Brain and blood spurted out of the cap of the wolf. Blood flailed onto Hawk's chest and pillars from his kill. He smiled happily with his kill and returned to Cassie. He nuzzled her back and began to lightly limp back to his stall.

She watched carefully as he brawled with the wolf, the wolf had out-done itself coming here and picking a fight with Hawk. It was no match for his pounding strong flints. As he stepped on it's head she looked away, she hated the sight of insides but was relieved it was dead and wouldn't hurt them anymore. As Hawk limped back into the stall she looked at the cut on his leg, it looked a little sore. We can be crippled together she laughed We had best be on guard wolves rarely trave alone. she heard a very distant howel and he ears flicked as she gaze out of a smll hole in the wood. She couldn't see anything, they were alone atleast for now. She nuzzled him kindly, saying thankyou for ridding the barn of the wolf. She dozed off to sleep again, still keeping alert in-case she had to move quickly or in-case more wolves came. An owl hooted in the distance and there was a sound of more howls still not too close but they would surely reach them eventually. Her ears flickered to the sounds and smell but she relaxed she hadn't slept in a while.

A soft chuckle was released from his bloody maw. The blood had spurted from the head to his muzzle. Red/gold orbs scanned the rotten barn making sure there where no more wolves about. When he heard her sweet voice, it rang in his audits. Hawk had a shocked expression plastered to his face, but it quickly melted away into a smile. He shook his large pate and whinnied softly
"Yes, but I will be the ne to stay awake. You rest, you need it the most."
A smile silently crept along his muzzle as he gazed at her while she rested. From the distance, he could hear more howls. He knew he couldn't take them all, but if it would save Cassie, his only friend, he would risk it. his nostrils flaired, auds pinned against his crania waiting for the wolves to approach. Hawk sighed and looked at Cassie then behind him. He was ready to kill more wolves, if they were to find the couple in the barn. Surely the wolves heard the dead one's cries for help before his was mudered by the awaiting hooves of the stallion called Hawk. In his mind was a song...a perfect song, that matched this moment greatly.[heh heh...]LISTEN.

Her auds flicked around listening to the howls of the wolves which were drawing closer still. She could hear the communicating, saying where to go, what angle to get on the barn everything. She heard their howls all around the barn and she roused herself from her "daydreaming". Her muscles tensed, she was ready to defend herself. Why are they not coming she thought to herself. She nudged Hawk gently just to make sure he was awake. She wasn't scared but she was slightly nervous shall we call it. The to horses in the barn were the only near living things worth the wolves time to kill. They would fill them up for weeks. But no wolf would remain standing if the entered the barn. Cassie stepped away from the hole in the barn behind her, because a wolf could easily squeeze through there and mawl her legs. Finally a small black nose poked through the hole in the barn. It was snarling as it tried to squeeze it's body through the hole. It was much larger than the first one and it's teeth were unusually large. Cassie stamped a hoof near it but it only lashed out and attempted to bite it. Was it some kind of special wol which had evolved to be bigger and stronger?

As Cassie raised her haunches, Hawk looked up, then back to catch a small glimpse of the wet leathery nose. This ambush enraged Hawk. He whinnied ferociously, terrifying the wolves. Auds could hear the wolves snarling and whining. That only engraged him more. When Hawk was in his "killer" mode, he was unstoppable. Orbs forming to take the color of blood. Hawk ran and lept over the old car blocking the back. There were atleast a dozen wolves. The leader was unusually large. The smaller wolves were the first to attack. As one little wolf ran at Hawk, teeth bared, snarling, Hawk kicked as hard as he could at the wolf's maw, smashing in his jaw, killing it instantly. Hawk reared and smashed in another's as it was next in line to attack. One by one Hawk defeated the wolves. Now, the leader. The unusually large brute padded forward. His yellow fangs bared, he probablly had rabies, but that wouldn't stop Hawk from protecting his friend. The wolf charged at Hawk and lept at his muzzle. Hawk whinnied a warning, the wolf didn't listen. Cuts and wounds filled Hawk's beautiful pelt. Blood flailed from his chassis onto the ground. As the lead wolf lept, Hawk reared again, attempting to crush the wolf's skull, but the leader had been watching Hawk's tacktics. Hawk knew he was, so tried something different this time. He swirverd and dodged the leaders attack. When the wolf attacked again, this time, launching himself to rip Hawk's throat. Hawk turned around and kicked his face, making the wolf fly backwards and hit into the car. The wolf blinked his eyes open and saw Hawk charging at him this time. The wolf got a terrified expression on his face, but Hawk had no mercy to the disgusting creatures. When it came to Cassie, he would do anything to protect her. He lifted his chassis to the air and brought his pillars down quickly and with all his strength. When the wolf was done, Hawk fell to the ground.Exhausted after the "battle". A loud sigh of relief was released from his muzzle. Orbs changed back to the original color as he glanced back at Cassie. Hawk laughed a bit and got back up to return to her.

Cassie watched eagerly, a little scared Hawk was going to be hurt in the fued of sort. Hurt? why would he be hurt? he was much stronger than the pitiful creatures had to resort to ambushing to kill, and still lose. Or at least she hoped they would lose. She watched as he defeated the small wolves on after another, rather like dolls flying around the place. The larger one, she suspected to be the leader, it just watched. Would this make it mad? it's mates and subjects just being thrown like ragdolls. She smiled to herself, he was so powerful, even a whole pack of wolves couldn't stop him. The larger one finally attacked when all it's subjects had perished, why was this follish creature running headfirst into it's death? was the need for food that bad? Crimson blood now layed in splats on the floor,Hawk now ha cuts all over his pelt. Cassie and him now had something in common. She just watched as he put the thing out of it's misery. She smiled at him and nuzzled him greatfully. I'm sorry I did nothing to help, It wasn't fair on my part. She peered though the hole in the wall, the sky was lightening, dawn was approaching rapidly. She sighed,at least the night was over, no more wolves, at-least not for now. Maybe we should find some proper food she stated not waiting for a reply she walked toward the door. She stood by it and waited for him to follow. She was rather thirsty.

Hawk smiled and nuzzled her,
"It is fine dear, I do not blame you, you are a femme, I didn't want you to get hurt."
Orbs panned the barn once more,
"We better find better shelter, warmer, and easier to get to the things we need such as food and water."
Hawk looked for an easier exit to release the couple. A sigh of relief was exhaled through his nostrils. Neck arched, pate held high, then it went down quickly, there was no exit without jumping or pushing....or was there. An evil grin brightened his face as he trotted happily to where the wolves had been scratching at and entering through. Rear turned towards the wall as powerfull pillars were lashed out quickly, making the wall fall to the earth. Hawk looked to see if he had won, and the wall lost. He chuckled turning to Cassie, gesturing her to follow. He knew where there was better shelter. And if any creature was to attempt to hurt the couple, the creature would quickly fall to it's death. Hawk smiled to Cassie, was he falling for her? Only time would tell.

She nodded But I could have helped, I am sure I have faced worse before I have she shook her head as powerful, horrible memories flooded her mind. She got rid of them and watched as he kicked down the wall to the barn. She smirked even though he was injured he still had incredible strengh she liked that. She followed him, Her leg was fine now no pain at all. How are you? do they hurt? she said almost quizzing him, she beckoned to his cuts. She walked out of the barn the wall crunching under the weight of her flints and bodice. She waited for him Her mind still full of horrible memories. No matter how much she didn't want them to be stuck in there, they always were, they were the thoughts that made her so vile at times and wary of other equines. She reared uncontrolably lashing out with her froth flints. She landed, anger breathing haeavily, she remained shaking her head until the thoughts finally went away, replaced by thoughts of happyness, she had to take her mkind off of the bad things in her past, she had to stop living there and move on. She had to focus on the future, and stop thinking about what could happen and only worry if it did. It was like her own little pep talk. She walked on a little bit and stopped abruptly, she had almsot forgot about hawk! how could she do something like that? she turned and whinnied happily.

Hawk smiled and began to trot after her.
"Huh? Oh these things, naa, they don't hurt all that bad. What about you?"
Orange/red pools searched the terra for a better safer place to stay. Day was arising, no danger was near. A sigh of relief excited through nostrils of this beast. Hawk yawned, tired from the fight, he hoped they wuld find a place to stay. Cassie was the one he was more worried about. As the mare began to remember her past, Hawk watched as she shook her mane to make the thoughts escape her mind. Must have been a bad past. Hooves under this large chassis brought him in front of the mare to stop her.
"Cassie, as my father and his father used to always say, leave the past in the past. Look ahead now, life will blend itself out on its own."
A soft maw nuzzled the mare's muzzle as Hawk finished his sentence. Neck and pate made a gesture to follow as Hawk began the search again.

She smiled at him, her past made her dangerous, it was a horrible past for anyone to have lived through. I know I have to, but it's hard, so may bad things have happenend which I cannot just simply leave behind and move on from she said a slight irritation in her voice. She didn't want to sound irritated, she wasn't, but she was scared it would happen again, she didn't want him to see her scared. The sun was nearly full now and there was barely a cloud in the sky, but it was early it could all change. She walked, twigs snapping under her hooves, the soft earth moving slightly. How are you injuries? she questioned him, hers were so much better now, they could have been much worse she was fortunate to get off so lightly. Birds sang happily, birdsong annoyed her slightly, they were always so happy, waht did they have to be so happy about? a question no-one could really answer for certain. She waited for him to speak her ears eager to hear the sound of his vocals escaping his maw. She flicked her tassels and took a deep breath.

The young stag glanced at the mare with confusion. How was it hard? You just simply forget. Hawk smiled and looked at the vix once more before replying to her question.
"I'm fine, what about you eh?"
A sigh escaped his maw as his orange-black peltage shined in the sunlight.
"Uh, Cassie?"
Now was the time to tell her. After all they had been threw together, now was the best time to tell her how she made him feel inside. Nares flaired as the stud lifted his attic and gazed into the mare's chocolate occulars.
"I duno if you feel the same, but, I have feelings I cannot explain for you, there, I have said it."
A confused and hurt expression plastered against the handsome stag's face. Hawk didn't know how Cassie would take it, but, the most he could hope for was the best.

My cuts and scrapes are fine now I can barely feel them, like they were never there at all She said shuffling closer to him, she nuzzled him happily, she had never really felt so happy in her whole life, not that she could really remember anyway. As he questiond her with "Uh Cassie" she looked into his pools and nodded her head eager to hear what words were about to escape his maw. She listened and was a little taken aback by what he said, she would never usually have had the confidence to say anything like that. She turned her head a way for a second then looked back into his pools and said I think I do do a feeling like love..... maybe she said rather shyly. She spotted a patch of grass and sautered over to it, she dipped her dial to the ground and snatched at the grass happily. She hadnt really tasted grass in a while, it was more a delicacy. Something you only really found if you were lucky. But it tasted so good, compared to all the other crap she had to eat to stay alive. She gazed into his pools once agin while she was munching, she began to wonder what he wold say next, she just waited.
