Welcome to EQUUS
Equus is a wild horse RPG set in a post apocalyptic city. About 80 years had passed since a virus and a nuclear attack had been launched. WE DO NOT TOLERATE STEALING AT ANY TIME. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT, YOU WILL BE BANNED. ALSO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CHALLENGING WHATSOEVER ALLOWED HERE. READ THE RULES!!
Plot:
The city has been abandoned. No humans live here. About 9 years ago, a horrible and destructive disease spread through here, affecting all the humans. Also, just before the humans vanished, the government launched a nuclear attack, killling every human alive. The horses were exposed to the radiation, and they ended up becoming immune to things. Though, they're not mutant, they are indestructable. The horses are free to roam over every inch of the land, wandering into cities. The city itself, lies in ruins and shambles. But what happened, instead of the equines banding together, they ended up separating and creating three main herds.
These three main herds rule certain parts of the city. While there are subherds, these three herds are actually fighting against one another, wanting to be the one main survial herd in the city. They despise each other and will often resent anyone who associates with them.
One question remains: Which side will you choose? Will you find out?.

To lead, is to live...
It was daylight, but the Sun seemed unable to shine onto the abandonded farm. A small grin crept along his muzzle. Hawk had always been sort of,iniquity, to his mother. Though, he wouldn't really call her a mother, she was sort of a coward that ran from her own offspring. That disgusted him. His immersion had always been focused around hatred, and killing. He never really thought about the word love and how it felt, his father never taught him. Hawk began to raise his great, beautiful frame off the crust and neighed an ear-peircing whinny. One of his pillars struck out as he reared. He liked it here, and was destined to stay, with only the approvale of the alphess. Hawk was not an idiot, yet he was not a complete genius either. He always thought of himself as a boss. The one to be in-charge. He looked around and scampered to the large barn, hoping to see if the alphess was somewhere in hiding. Hawk could tell these lands were Dark. He sensed it when he first got here, along that there was an open leadership and a dark femme. Though, he never really cared about love, he always cared about offspring, and leadership. He slowed his gait to trotting pace and stopped in front of the old, worn down barn.
"Hello?Is there anyone there?
He looked into the entrence to where the stables lie. He began to walk into the barn. A large rat attempted to scuddle away, but, Hawk did not have the simpathy to let the rodent die. He kicked the rat to a large boulder, snapping its neck out of place. He laughed an evil, terrifying laugh. A sound came from the back of the barn.
"Probablly another rat"
He said in a rude ,manor, though he knew that it would not affend any horse he knew.

The shadows proved more than enough to suffice for her hiding place. Alone, cold, thinking deeply to herself. This new land was a beauty laced in poison, ghosts lurked everywhere...preying upon the helpless souls who dare not deify them. But, Like Beltane, they demanded respect in their state of life. Or, Afterlife, in their case.
She had spent the whole day searching, her pillars weary now with travel. For what? Even she had no clue. But something..someone...would stumble along her path. Perhaps, by mistake, perhaps by fate, perhaps...by fault. She sneered at the thought of some helpless critter praying for her help, her as a last resort to any source of life...only to find she would bring them death, a vile, decaying death.
She slowed her gait from trot to walk, she had never before seen this abandoned architect that lay before her. Remaining where the sun's rays dare not shine, she entered the opening to what remained of stables. Stables...no wonder humans no longer walked this earth, for who would dare tame a horse for a pet? Beltane would have never allowed it.
Walking in, she heard a squeak of pain. A rat lay dead in front of her, but its final movements indicated this was a fresh kill. Her neck slowly swiveled around the corner, only for her emerald orbs to catch a glance at a male.
Only another rat? she asked, her beautiful but deadly voice adding the charm factor. Slowly, she allowed her dark bodice to crawl out from the shadows, each step graceful enough to make anyone believe she was gliding

The day grew hotter, but still no sun shined. Haw's coat began to grow little beads of sweat along with the pelt being clumped together. All of the dirt began to rise at with the sweat and made him look a little darker. Golden/red orbs scanned the body of the mare that stood before him.
"And who are you mare?
He questioned, with almost no emotion at all n his face. Hawk looked away for a moment then looked back at the mare. He saw out of the corner of his eye, little glowing orbs staring the two equine down. That sort of angered him in a sort of way he could not understand. He snorted a few times and waited for the mare to reply.

She stepped closer to him, and with each clack of her hooves, she made it clear that she was not afraid of this brute. She could tell his type, arrogant, bossy, thinks he is always in charge. Beltane snickered as she came to his face, piercing his eyes with her own, green ones.
I am your nightmares and hauntings come true my dear...
Beltane sneered, a sly grin upon her muzzle. Her tassel swayed in the gentle wind as it caressed her body, slowly weaving in and out of each layer of ebony hair. While she awaited his next lyrics, she scanned over his body. This one had a nice build, and even more intriguing designs upon his coat.
Her very own aura scared her sometimes. Fearing even her own vicious thinking process. But oh how going slowly insane was more of an ease than a burden. Her glowing orbs fixated to his once more, daring him to defy her. She pawed the ground gently, yet enough to show her strength and graceful power to this male. There would be no playing around now...

A small snort came from Hawk's nostrils. He eyed the mare and sneered back. He was not afriad. He would not back down, he would stand and fight her if he had to. His red/gold orbs scanned her body once more. She was large for a mare, but yet, still not a strongly built as he himself. He did not like to brag, but he was very strong for his age.
"I asked, your name, not who you are inside, m'lady. For I am Hawk. Son of ShadowGlass. And son of the cowardly Esperanza, I so sadly have to call my mother. So, who are you and who are your decedants mare?
His focus remained on her, watching her every movement. When she began to paw the ground, it did not back down or spook at it. He was used to this treatment. A mare? Trying to show dominance. Ha! He thought to himself. Hawk did not like the fact that this female was trying to show dominance to him.

The predictions were all to true...she thought to herself as he so "bravely" proclaimed himself and his bloodline. She sighed, her large chest expanding as the venomous air of this place filled her lungs with life. Various creaking noises from the old structure made a more haunting effect of this place. Perhaps there was some unknown, interesting lore to this place? Beltane would have to investigate later.
As her eyes caught his again, she laughed. My cursing is Beltane, My mother was also a coward who abandoned me, and whose name will never again stain my lips...
she casually explained, a snort of disgust following. Just thinking about that wretched fae she had once called mother sparked a flame of fury in her heart. Though she dare not show it, it saddened her deep inside that her mother did not care enough about her...but rage covered this sorrow from the world.
As for my father, he was know only as The Black Death, I look just like him as a matter of fact...but his soul was poisoned. I know not the whereabouts of either parent, nor do I care enough to find out.
Truth be told, The Black Death was the only horse Beltane has ever feared. Her auds swiveled backward a bit on her skull as she thought of her past...but was soon after followed by a good shaking of the head to clear her thoughts.

The stallion glared at the mare for a while then looked away in thought. He thought about it and then replied,
"I am searching for the Leader of these lands.
Hawk looked at the mare again then watched the rats for a while. He heard neighing in the distance, and knew there was a horse fight or mating going on somewhere. Hawk remebered what he had seen before,
"Wait, I know your father. Your father and my father are brothers....
Hawk cornw lowered to sniff the ground, his orbs slowly looked up to look at the mare and see what her reaction was.

His response matched what she was also doing. The leader seemed to be hidden somewhere, which made Beltane question what type of leader she was. Obviously, her heart belonged to darkness, but what was she proving hiding away from future herd members? As the male stated his purpose...Beltane merely nodded her head.
As he said the next statement..however...a wave of shock over came her brain. She had never known that her father had brother...although...she had never even really spoken to her father without being severely injured by his hooves of thunder.
Interesting...well it appears then that we are cousins. Nice to meet a family member that actually has some sense. she said, her smile a little but sweeter this time.

The stallion nodded and looked at her. He knew deep down inside, she had a soft spot, so did he. But he never mentioned it, he liked to keep that part to himself. Hawk smiled lightly then decided to speak again,
"Well cousin, do you want to find lands together? Or do we want to stay here and wait for the Queen?I like it here.
He looked at his cousing and then at the muddy, dark terrain. He enjoyed it here. It was cozy, for him. And he liked the feeling of being comfortable around another.

Since they had revealed the fact that they were kin, the tension in the air seemed to disperse...floating away to bother some other horses. No, now Beltane felt a bit safer...though she needed no one. She could only hope that the deceiving trait that ran in their bloodline did not cross over to Hawk.
I say, if queeny here doesn't come soon, we go find our own little land. I could rule better than any of these other pathetic excuses for equines any day
she stated this with her head held high, her large neck slightly stretched to make her appear taller than she truly was. She whinnied with impatience. Where was this queen? Was she so daft not to know intruders lay upon her borders? Time would only tell.
OOC|| Yeah, I was kinda thinking about claiming land with Beltane, but since we've already posted here...I dunno, we will see how long it takes for Rupture to post.

ooc::yeah, tears is going to claim another lands, I was thinking about claiming a land with hawk and his "soon-to-be" mare cassie....lol Red/gold orbs panned the terrain looking for the so called queen. His neck was arched, he looked like a true alpha indeed. A small snort blew from his nostrils, he did not like the dust and hair building up. But it did make him chuckle. Hawk looked around again, still no sight of the mare. Did she not know there where tresspassers crossing onto her lands? Hawk did not know, he wondered if his relative did. His orbs looked at his cousing as he spoke,
"Hmm, yes, I do not know where this queen is either. Do you think we should go look for her, we may just stumble upon her there."
He shook his dusty coat and peered into the distance from the corner of his eye. His audits swivled back and forthe listening to the rustling in the back, and hoping he would hear another horse. If it was another equine, could it just possibly be the queen herself? Maybe..maybe not. Hawk stood up and sighed. It was almost nightfall and nothing had happened, he was bored. He picked up one front pillar and began to paw at the Earth.
