Welcome to EQUUS
Equus is a wild horse RPG set in a post apocalyptic city. About 80 years had passed since a virus and a nuclear attack had been launched. WE DO NOT TOLERATE STEALING AT ANY TIME. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT, YOU WILL BE BANNED. ALSO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CHALLENGING WHATSOEVER ALLOWED HERE. READ THE RULES!!

Plot:
The city has been abandoned. No humans live here. About 9 years ago, a horrible and destructive disease spread through here, affecting all the humans. Also, just before the humans vanished, the government launched a nuclear attack, killling every human alive. The horses were exposed to the radiation, and they ended up becoming immune to things. Though, they're not mutant, they are indestructable. The horses are free to roam over every inch of the land, wandering into cities. The city itself, lies in ruins and shambles. But what happened, instead of the equines banding together, they ended up separating and creating three main herds. These three main herds rule certain parts of the city. While there are subherds, these three herds are actually fighting against one another, wanting to be the one main survial herd in the city. They despise each other and will often resent anyone who associates with them.

One question remains: Which side will you choose?Will you find out?.

    General Rules


    This is not a beginner roleplaying site. If you have never roleplayed before, this site is not for you. The only thing is you must be able to post 200 words or more

    • Do not power play, this is when you control another's character or do not give them a chance to react
    • CHALLENGING IS ALLOWED. However, staff lands are exempt. Dont like it? too bad.
    • To attain a 'royal' title, you MUST AUD FOR THEM. If they are taken, then you will have to wait. NO CHALLENGING THE ROYALS ARE ALLOWED!!
    • Also, if you make a dark horse, Please do NOT MAKE EXTREMLY AGGRESSIVE HORSES. Dont have them killing their own children, or whatnot. That's just sick.
    • Do not God model, this is where you make your character invincible
    • If you become INACTIVE and own land, we have the right to give the land away.
    • Cursing is allowed but try not to go over the top with it
    • No being rude to other members and staff. You may not agree with them on some things but still there are untitled to there own opinion
    • Please do not fight in IC or OOC. If you really need to disguise something with another member and a fight comes upon it then talk about it in PM. Though please resist the urge to fight at all times
    • You may have as many horses as you can handle, just make sure you keep them active.
    • Anything very serious, please contact a member of staff (preferably an admin) and they can help you to sort it out.
    • If you are going away for a long period of time, please post in the away board

      Creating a Character


    • Please follow the form provided
    • You must wait to be accepted before RPing with that character
    • Please make the character realistic and this is a Horse RP. Meaning only horses are to be created
    • Always check back on your form, there maybe something wrong with it that needs to be changed
    • You may have as many characters as you wish, just keep them all active though
    • To break alliances down: Darks are cold, evil and vile. Neutrals are between good and bad, while lights are good

      Posting


    • Please type 200 words +. This is an intermediate RP but please no one liners. If you do post a lot, try not to overwhelm some of the members who cannot post 1000 words or more. We dont want anyone feeling bad here.
    • Anything less than 200 words and a warning will be given. If your post is not lengthened it shall be deleted
    • If you find it hard to type up 200 words maybe ask someone to help you who can pull up 200 words pretty easily
    • If you are posting OOC in your post please make it obvious that the bit of text is in OOC, like simply putting OOC: at the beginning

      Breeding


    • Graphic Breeding is not allowed in any boards. If you really wish to do graphic, keep it to PM's. Though make sure both members in the thread agree to it before doing this.
    • There is a board for breeding to be done in, this board is called the Breeding Board. PG-13 ONLY!
    • Stallions may rape Mares
    • Mares can fight back against stallions willing to rape them against there will
    • If the thread is bookmarked for someone do not go inside it. It may be bookmarked if a pair wish to breed with only each other
    • No power playing in this board. I know that it can be very tempting for you to just act males running in and mounting immediately but that is classed as power playing. Give the other member a chance to react

      Birthing


    • Once two horses have bred post both parents stats in the board called breeding
    • A staff member will choose your color of the foal. They will decide whether they are healthy or not
    • You may request a gender of foal or how they come out but you will not necessarily get it
    • No arguing with the staff member who gave the stats out if you did not like what you where given
    • The players of the mother and farther can choose the foals names and personality. They may also choose amongst themselves who will play the foals
    • If you have foals that neither of you want to play put them in the board named adoption and then another can play it for you
    • You do not have to wait an amount of time for the foals to be born
    • You may RP the birth

      Fighting


    • Stallions and mares may both fight
    • Stallions will not always win over a Mare
    • Stallions may fight for mares if they wish
    • You may fight over herds
    • If a challenge for a herd is made, you must wait 5 days and if the player of the current lead does not reply (or has not posted in the absent board) the land is yours
    • You have 3 dodges and 4 hits in a fight
    • A staff member will judges the fight and says who wins. There word goes

      Claiming


    • You may claim an unclaimed herd
    • Claiming posts should be 300+ words to claim a land
    • Make sure your spelling and grammar is correct, there is a spell check you know
    • Your claim may be declined or accepted. If it is declined the staff member who declined it will stat why. You may change it to improve it and then you may get the land
    • Sub-boards may not be claimed. They are areas inside the main lands that are free.
    • Stallions may claim Mares and Foals for there herd
    • LAND CHALLENGING IS ALLOWE EXCPT THE ADMINS LAND AND STAFF LAND WHICH IS EXEMPT

    • May force breed
    • Will only impregnate a Mare at the age of 1 or above
    • May adopt Foals

      Foals


    • May not claim land
    • May be adopted
    • May not become pregnant/ may not impregnate until reaching the age of 1
    • May run away
